Happy Birthday to my most beautiful 8 YEAR OLD! S Happy Birthday to my most beautiful 8 YEAR OLD! Sweet Lu, I don’t know what I’d do without you in my world. Without you, the world would just be shades of grey. You, my love, bring that much-needed color. As you enter your 8th visit around the sun, I can’t help but reflect on all the things you’ve done and accomplished this past year. We spent another year homeschooling; you are so bright and quick to catch on. You remember so much and love to read. This past year you’ve grown into a fantastic artist, and I see your talent only growing as you continue to practice and learn from the arts. Your art style is just so unique and fun to watch evolve. You are an incredible portrait artist, and your creativity is just unique. This year you’ve jumped back into gymnastics, and while I’m pretty sure you’re indifferent to it, you also happily go along, and your skills are continually improving. We finally bought our beloved Camper Van, Bagel and have gone on so many adventures! We spent our first entire winter in Florida, went to Bliss and met some lovely friends, and spent time with Levi and Kendall in NJ and SC. This past year we made wonderful friends with our homeschool besties, which has brought so much joy to our lives and our homeschooling experience, as well as your beloved nature class with Zack - where you managed to slice your finger open, not once - but 2x! During year 7, you also did something you’ve never done before, you went to sleep away camp! Both you and Remy spent a week at Camp Woodward - and while I got lots of “pick me up” texts - I came to find out that you had THE BEST time and would happily go back.
